    The 8 pound verses 10 pound makes a difference too, this is the reason I switched away from linecounters completely. Its all relative, if they are spooled the same with the same line then its repeatable, thats the main thing. You seem to be like me tho, if it says 100 feet then that is what you want it to be.

    You are the one that steered me to the power pro depth hunter line and thats what i have used all summer...I bought these line counters just to compare and see what i liked better...the only thing that I dont like about the depth hunter line is that I tend to forget my colors or how many ive let out...(gets tough fishing by yourself) which i do about 90% of the time.

    was planning on sardis saturday but now with the wind forecast im seeing I think itll be to rough for me in my small boat. I will try a smaller lake closer to home instead, and may just forget the cranks and spider rig with this nice cool weather we are getting

    Never have! Just started crappie fishin this spring, and started pulling cranks this summer. Caught several stripes, a largemouth, a small mouth, a sauger, and 20 or so crappie, a few cats and a few bream
