    I do like Hotrod.... Put 300'-400' on mine, not full. I don't care if its "accurate", just as long as they are all the same.

    Your way is fine if you have no friends. My buddies and I all spool the same so when sharing info we are all the same. Fill the spool up

    I put 400' of braid on my reels after the backing. With planers, you have to free-spool lots of line out to clear the other boards when you catch a fish on the outside board.
    We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
