Saying this I looked out the window last night in time to see a skunk going underneath by deck. I sprinkled some flour around the opening to see if he is just visiting are was he returning home for the day. Sadly for me he entered but never left. I can trap him but dispatching him is gonna be a huge problem. Sadly I had to starve the last one and it held on for 5 days. My job is going to be sealing up everything in my backyard but I can't do anything until it drys out a bit. We have had 3 straight days of rain.
I can catch this coon in the trap, the problem is it has learned how to reach around the trap door, pull the door stop, and escape. I'm going to modify one of the traps today, add some aluminum wings to the trap door to close up the clearance a bit. Block the critters leg from reaching around the door. Post to follow.
