I know some of you have had fish hooked and fighting it back to boat and all of a sound you lose it,I know I have.I have offen wonder why I losted a fish that I thought was hooked pretty good.For the last few weeks I have been fishing clear water and love it.You can see the jig hit the surface and watch its fall rate,been useing solid white curly tails easy to see.Anyway I seen how they do it,thinking I had good one on and he is not getting off b/c I've done reeled him close to the boat and all at once they will fare their gills out REAL big and spit the lure out.I'm figureing the force of water being pulled in unhooks the jig to spit it out,seen this several times.Really its unreal how for out they can fare their gills out and when they close their gills its unreal how big their mouth can get.When they do this I'm trying to stop doing the cuss words b/ c now I know its not my fault or jigs fault.I'd almost bet they can spit a crankbait the same way.
