Thread: loseing hooked fish

I have seen too... many good fish get off as I lift them in the boat. I now have a long handle net waiting for them when they hit the top of the water. Can't tell you how many fish a good net has saved me...several of which come off during the fight but was able to lunge the net under them... or have the net under them as they popped off and net them before they swim away.
