That is Gabowman's boat, I'm thinking it is a 690 Ranger, would be a great boat for you if you can find a used one in your price range. There are a lot of boats that you can set up for longlining. About all bass boats can be used. I have an old tri-hull I rebuilt for longlining. It works very well.

Can't seem to find any pics I took while fishing to show the set up. For the money you plan to spend you should be able to find a nice boat but be sure to save enough money for buying everything you will need like rod-holders trolling motor with I-pilot deth finder.

You got pic of whole inside of boat? Looks good! I found a boat idk what its worth guy don't wanna sale really said make offer has terrova 80 its nice 115 mercury not sure of it? Has lowrance ff to HDS 7 I think. The boats 17'6" long kinda want 19 but its deep hull boat should be stable for getting off lake mid day in high winds.

I seen first pics you done a nice job fixing that one up! Lots of time right there! I have a sea ark 1652 now its just to unstable and not deep enough boat. I like the rangers fisherman series. 620t new model would be nice tiller handle gives u plenty of room and 9ft rod storage and a 20 ft boat would be a Cadillac!

My boat is only 15' but man it is stable on the water. Most of the time it's just me and the mutt so enough room. I can set two seats beside each other on front or back of the boat if I have one of my grandkids with me.

Read all post and best I have seen on crappie.com. Have been long lining for many years Best money I ever spent was taking a trip with a guide. I learned boat set up jig size's why variable speed trolling motor is so valuable in controlling the depth jigs run in water column. Of all the things I have learned water temp is one of the best tools as to where I will start fishing. I have learned so much being a member of this site it has improved my fishing greatly. Santa brought me a drift sock to try and hope it will let me continue to fish on windy days instead of going to the house. Thanks for the tips from everyone as i still learn each time I go longline trolling
