Default What's your Lake look like?

Hey folks, with the cooler temps coming here in SC, what 's your expectations for fall fishing?
How much trash and debris are clogging your waterways? I have noticed that some lakes look great while others are still super muddy and filled with trash.
I'm planning on going this weekend and hoping for good results. Water temps should be falling right into a good range, but the full moon is on Wednesday!
Let's open the SC board back up for Fall and get some good reports. What y'all think?

Hartwell looks great around the Seneca river area. I was actually shocked how good the water looked after coming up 6 feet from the Hurricane. The water is 1 foot below full pool and looks inviting. I haven't been on the water since just after Labor day weekend, but plan to get out soon. Will post if I find anything.

I was at Barren River in Kentucky last week with brjohnson429 and the water was stained and we did see some evidence of the lake beginning to turn over. Today starts the hard drawdown to winter pool with an estimated 1/2 foot drawdown per day. The lake will go from 10000 acres of water to 4000 by December!

Was catfishing on Clark Hill this morning. The lake is full pool and stained lightly (depends on where youre at). Very, very little debris. Water temps this morning was 70*.

Fished Wylie last week and again Tuesday. I’ve fished from L. Allison to S. Point and the water color is about the same everywhere. Water temperature has been 74 degrees. The stained water has scattered the fish a bit. The brush is still holding fish but there are solo and small schools in open water. Fish can be caught most anywhere you wanna fish. Small baits have been more productive for me fished pretty slow. Haven’t saw any evidence that they will chase a bait fished fast. Every time I speed it up they turn away. Slow has been best.
