Im guessing that you've reading slabbacks thread about using a dedicated di transducer.if you want the best di thats possible for your unit you could use a di transducer and your si along with a transducer switch to toggle between the to.this would give you the best from both without giving up one.i no of no one that has had any problems with this type of setup but humminbird will not cover your unit under warrinty if you do this.
