Cool LV ! Man that's some bend caused by such small fish! I carry 3 different rods and none have the same action though labeled light action. Who cares as long as I get good casting distance using 1/32 oz + lure wt. and strike detection/good hook sets at a distance.

Amazing the record heat you have been experiencing ! I also still went fishing when I lived in Texas many decades ago when summer temperatures reached over 90 on a daily basis. Funny though, I don't even remember what I caught fish on (rod/ lures) except one very large gar on a Little Joe type tail spin plus using stink bait for catfish.
