Fished most of the day today. Water temp was 56 in the morning at sunnyside ramp. I decided to run over to Spencer creek and try in that area. I ended up with around 15. They were caught with minnow and cork and jig and cork and a couple casting a road runner. Earlier in the day they were hanging out around 5 or 6 feet deep. Later in the day they moved up onto the bank. Sure was fun getting to see the cork go under. Saw several peope catching fish, but nobody just tearing them up. Maybe 2 or 3 fish per hour. All the males were very black and the females still had eggs but looked like they were about to pop.
Another cool thing, Edwin Evers was at the ramp in the morning. He even offered to pull my truck up so i wouldn't have to bank the boat. Super nice guy.
