Went this morning and it sure was nice and cool. Fished with my buddy Jason and brought home 18 keepers. It was kinda slow early, but the bite got better around 9:00. Caught all our fish on jigs, or jigs tipped with minnows. Used Bobby Garland baby shads and slab slayers in 4 different colors, orange and chartreuse, gumdrop, licorice and pearltreuse, and black. Changing colors when the bite slowed down seemed to help us catch more fish. Caught two 14 inch fish and another 4 or 5 between 12 and 13 inches. Fished brush piles in 10 to 18 FOW.
