I finally put the deer hunting gear up and hooked on to the boat today. Got on the water around 1245 and fished until 315. The wind limited the fishing to some extent but did manage to catch around 15 and kept 10. All caught on 1 brush pile, and it was the first one I tried. I tried 3 other brushpiles within 75 yds of that one and didn't get a bite. I then ran to Blue creek and fished 3 piles and didn't get a bite. I was very limited in Blue Creek due to the wind. I went back to the first pile for about 10 minutes and caught 2 more. Kinda wished I had just stayed there all the time. I didn't catch any real big ones 2 around 12 inches and the rest were 10 inchers. I caught all the fish on a blk/char beavertail with 1/8 oz. blk head or a BG electric chicken with a 1/8 oz. pink head. The brush pile was in 18 fow. Now I have the winter time fishing fever.:D:D
