Catching a limit these days is almost like a given if you find the right spot. I went out again Saturday morning with a friend. The wind kept us pinned down into certain spots, but we still caught over a 100 fish and took home 45 that went 10 - 14". All caught on jigs anywhere from 3' - 14' deep in 11' - 16' fow. If you can dress warm enough and find a spot fairly out of the wind and are around the brush, you'll hit some fish. The bigger fish were caught close to deeper water. All fish caught off plain lead head jig with orange and chartrues tube. I know a guy that went out today around noon, fished until 2:30 and caught a limit. Get on out there and git some! Guru's correct on the slow presentation. Some bites very aggressive, some very light.

Thanks for the tip Crappie Reaper You really got on em!!! I wish I could just catch enough for a mess to eat!!! I have been staying on the south end of the lake due to the low water. If you don't mind me asking are you fishing on the south or north end? Blue, Spencer? I don't want you to reveal your spots but a general area would be nice. Thanks for any input. Thanks for the report and good luck out there!!!

I fish Talala Creek 99% of the time. If you want fish, stop by and I'll give you enough to feed a family of 6-8. I live in Oologah.

Thanks a lot crappie reaper I tried to put in at Talala creek about a week ago but the ramp was totally out of the water. I will just motor up there tomorrow and give it a whirl. Thanks so much for the info. You have helped me out a ton. I appreciate the offer on the fish. I live in Talala and would love to go fishing with you sometime if you would be willing to go along. Once again thanks a lot!!!

Got a chance to get out this weekend, and ended up with 29 Saturday, and caught another 15 today. Saturday morning was a cold son of a gun, the rod tip was icing up, the wind would was blowing in my face, but the fish were on fire. I caught at least 30- 40 throwbacks, but the keepers were healthy. Sunday was a little slower but the bite was still on. I gave at least 12 nice fish to a relative of mine who was fishing with me, plus I threw back another 30 or more. All fish were caught on jigs, slip corking and tighting lining, 10 to 12 foot deep. I know it's chilly outside but the fish don't seem to mind!
    Was that a bite?
