We debated fishing Oologah or Skiatook this weekend and decided to keep fishing Oologah despite the water being up 9 ft and our poor results the weekend before. We thought the fish have gotta bite sometime, and our persistence must have brought us luck. We ended up with 43 keepers Saturday and 38 on Sunday. The size of the fish seemed to be a little better. Still nothing to write home about, but enough 12 inch fish to make it fun. We concentrated on several different brush piles in 15-25ft of water. Caught fish on jigs early and minnows later as the sun rose higher. Water was clearing up, you could see 3 to 4ft down.
