We put in at Crowder and fished Rock Creek yesterday as well. I couldn't believe all the boats!

I caught 3 Crappie and my Dad lost several.

We arrived around 10 and left at 2. My Dad had had enough soaking minnows LOL. I would have like to have spider rigged, but my Dad is not into such nonsense...lol

Some of those people should not be allowed to own boats!!

What boat were you in, we talked to several people while there.

Went to Gentry Creek today. As usual, fishing alone and the wind decides to blow into a small hurricane. I saw people on the point on the furthest creek to the East of the park catching some Crappie, but everyone in the boats weren't catching squat, including me.

I spider rigged up the creek in 6 to 8 feet of water. Didn't catch anything until late in the afternoon when I found some 62 degree water next to the ridge. I pulled 2 males out of water that couldn't have been a foot deep. Then I caught a female in 6 fow fishing 4 foot down on a black/pink Yum Beavertail.

And that was it. Nothing else. Fished up the shore and back down and only caught another bass.

Had heck loading the boat in the wind and think I may have thrown my back out. Will know more in the morning.
