Hey Peke,
We fished in the Arrowhead area yesterday as well. Was kind of slow, but ended up cleaning 28 decent keepers with the largest maybe 13". No hosses. Caught numerous dinks as well. We were using YUM and Bobby Garlands, but I am sure minnows would have worked fine. Most were caught spider rigging. Colors were varied with no real preference emerging: blk/char, pumpkin/char, blk/pink, electric chicken, cajun crickett, etc.
Just for the info, almost all of the fish were caught in from 12' to 14' of water, about 12' down. Didn't get into any fish shallower than 10'. Warmest surface temp we saw was 55 F. Most places, it was 49-51 F.
