The only boat permit is if you launch at a Corps-run boat ramp. Its a launch permit to use the ramp. You can either get a 1-time use ($3 I think). Or you can get a yearly permit.

its no big deal Champ,, i was just wondering what other people thought mid lake would be cause i have always considered like #9 and the longtown area over to bout oakridge midlake ,, Thanks for the reply,, i think im gonna try Tenkiller for a while because its been so hit and miss down there this year good one day ,nothin the next ,,I love Eufaula but it has not been nice to me this year
Thanks
I've actually slayed them from massy, fish creek coal and arrowhead all from last weekend till weds. My buddy said they finally hit the banks on grand yesterday
Any suggestions of where I can take my 3 sr citizens to catch a few from the bank tonight? Closer to Eufaula the better and has to be easy access.
I bet u could catch some around oak ridge boat ramp area off hwy9 there is a cove and a rock barrier people have been catching them there every time I go by there
Cleaned 31 Saturday.....around Oakridge area.....most were 4ft to 6 inches deep. They were about 1/2 n 1/2 male to female
Caught 3 nice crappie in front of my cabin along the shoreline yesterday right before dark. Caught 11 more this morning on my friend's dock here in Arrowhead Estates in shallow water, so they've moved back in. Water temp is a solid 70 degrees, very murky and the wind was blowing out of the south. Used white and green jig on the bottom, dark green and orange for the top. Had several hits on the top jig. Aggressive bite, strong fight, and didn't lose a single fish this morning.
Fished Saturday had 35 keepers from 10-2 in 3-4 ft od water on rip rap. I have been catching my fish on big crappiepro wasshappas 3 in on 3/16th and 1/4 ounce heads. Green pump/pearl has been the best color. EB
We had 18 keepers Sat. all shallow and mostly males in 1'-2' OW. Jigs and minners around Oakridge area.
