I will be very vocal and express myself if people try and crowd me out, in fact, In washington state, when I would salmon fish and people would get to close to me and get me tangled up, i would reach over and cut their line, but it shouldnt have to be that way. The word is out and people from all over the state are traveling to Blackwell to get in on the bite while its hot. Be prepared for elbow to elbow people and what some refer to as "Combat" fishing if you go to Blackwell. Here is a picture that my buddy sent me of the inside of the fish house this morning and its not even 730am.

SC - Tell your buddy that is a great pic. I fished beside him all morning and I think we may have been the only two that knew how to stay out of each other's way. He seemed like a nice guy and he definitely knows how to catch fish. That's me in the blue coat, front and center. I asked him if he was on CDC and he said no. He seemed amazed we drove from Tulsa to fish there. The locals do seem a little upset the dock has gotten so popular all of a sudden. My friend and I ended up catching 20 and as we were loading up, another angler was leaving and decided he didn't want to clean his, so we inherited another 20. Jig color didn't seem too critical as much as being in right pile at right time. I caught most of mine on a solid pink BG. Think my son and I may try to go Tuesday. If any CDC'ers are there, please introduce yourself. Always like to put faces with names!
