Went looking today for the most part trying to find something we could fish out of the wind...well we found plenty of stuff but the bad thing is when you get back into the oxbowls the shad are almost non existant. We caught some fish but not what I was looking for at all. We ended up with another limit of 30 fish today and had 10 pigs we turned back..not gonna tell EB where I turned em lose either..I can't trust him at all...lol...Wt was 64 when we started at 7:30 this morning and got up to 68 later in the afternoon. Again fish were scattered here and there and at all depths...never seen so many GAR rolling in my life and its just not in 1 place either it was from Rocky Point all the way above 412 bridge. We even caught 3 on jigs today and the Sandbass are feeding up for winter too.......Ranger

    Default Fished yesterday

Started at noon fished till 5:30 caught about 15 kept 8 big ones. Wind was a issue kind of limited where I could fish. Was up the river on the wind protected banks. Fish were scattered from 18" to 13' FOW in cover. Used BG baby shad in blue ice. Water temp was 63-64. The shad were very thick along the banks. Also caught a bunch of sandies and a good channel cat.

I have been dipping cover with my 12' pole because most the fish I have been catching are shallow (18"-5'). But the fish are all over the place right now and aggressive so just fish your favorite way, I bet you will catch plenty.
