FINALLY!!! Someone gets it. They spelled it out so simply at the Enid meeting even I could understand. We have a couple of short year classes. The MLL and creel limit regulation were doing us a favor so we would have something to catch through this "hole" in the population.

I guess next time we all need to either sumbit our feelings by mail or phone and try to attend these meetings. I have no problem with the 11 inch length or the 15 fish limit.....but I disagree and see no reason whatsoever for the pole limit.
And the pole limit change wasn't proposed in the Notice of Intent before the Enid meeting. That came solely from public input.

I called Mr. Garavelli after this was rammed through The Commission. He said after the public input they went back and looked at the biological data and concluded the revised regs would accomplish the same goals.
Proem is after public input they went with a MORE restrictive MLL and pole limit. Did the data change?

I think we need to stick with biology and not worry how many poles a standard t bar holds. I have a standard one coming that holds 6.

Changing the number of poles changes nothing, only MLL and quantity.
It makes the jealous single polers feel better about themselves.

    Very good idea.

The reason I am interested in this scientific data is....I want to see how they could possibly prove or document that switching from 4 poles to 3 poles is going to take pressure off the fish...all these proposals they said was to reduce pressure.....I can understand how lowering the limit from 20 to 15 would reduce pressure......but its looks to me like leaveing the 12 inch rule in place would releve more pressure than lowering to to 11 inches. And the number of poles shouldn't have anything at all to do with pressure. I am OK with all of it though except for the pole limit.....that just dosen't make sense.
