It may not make sense but that's the rule... It may mess ya plans up, but that's part of tournament fishing... Being able to adapt and beat everybody else with the water ya got to work with... There's some great crappie fisherman that will be on the water and I bet some good stringers will be put together... Stinks that it messed up people's plans, but the best way to show you don't approve is to whoop their hiney by weighing a heavier stringer... I want to make it clear my comments were not intended to bash MCC in any way. I have really enjoyed fishing with these guys and making new friends but I'm not a big fan of changing the rules on the fly by any organization when the conditions will be the same for everyone to deal with as they see fit and have prepared for.

I dont think I have bashed MCC, I did call the "Legit 100000 Tourney" a joke and still feel that way but this rule that has been announced this week is out there for sure. Not bashing on my part just stating an opinion. If I were gonna be in town I would fish it simply because of the connection it is having with the Town of Water Valley which I think is awesome. As I said earlier, there was talk of this before the MCC Grenada tourney but it never came to pass, dont understand it and apparently the people in chargte of MCC dont care to explain it.
As far as the controversy between MCC and C.C I dont have a clue about that but it seems to work both ways, its not a one way street for sure.

You won't find MCC debating their rules on Crappie.com. That's what they have a board of directors for. I believe this policy has led to their success and longevity.

ATM I am not bashing MCC but they do only post on here for their benefit, with that being said, I feel like me being in there Saturday and must have been seen by another MCC member that all the sudden Wildcat is off limits. That was all I was asking. I saw you and Andy Sunday and I was fishing in the middle of lake " staying away" from my spot. I am leaving after work and I will find some more fish I just thought it odd that the water level has been low for over 3 months and they are going to a low water rule a week before the tourney. that s all and I am done with this. I AM FISHING THE TOURNEY THOUGH!
