I have a regular Eagle 480 (no GPS), I've had that thing for close to 10 years and it still looks and works great, good detail like WB said. I also have the FishElite 640c which is a GPS unit and the GPS has been great on that one, far better GPS at slow speeds than my much more expensive HB unit. My 640 takes all of the Navionics Hotmaps chips, Premium South gives you 1' contours but not roadbeds, etc. Classic South gives you less detail on the contour lines, either 5 or 10' intervals but it has all of the roadbeds and house foundations on it. As others have said,, you can transfer waypoints back and forth by SD card but they can't be connected.
It's all over but the fryin'......
