    Dont get me wrong they are very well built and look extremely nice. And I know you get what you pay for but that’s just to far out of my budget

    Just ordered a set of Trickstep.com out of Indiana,,, These guys make a nice set of steps and are around same price as most,,,,

    Looks good Takeum.
    I checked at a scrapyard today. Lots of light wall square tube 1 1/2 and 2". There was a cabover ladder rack with 1 1/2" heavy wall square tube, I heard $5 per cut with a torch. I'll check another one.

    I have a friend in Southhaven that does welding,,, I bet he has a ton of metal just hanging around,I also have access to a nheavy duty metal band saw that's just sitting collecting dust as well as a few welding machines,,,,,,,,Id love to build a few sets of these for folks here to offer something at a better cost,,, The $500 is a bit much for most folks just fishing,,,

    Cane,,, I would be a good deal for sure,,, I may just buy his band saw and welder so and be good to go,,, what welder would work best on doing this kind of welding? 220mig ? Arc? Or maybe some else?

    I stuck all my heavy parts with my 110V flux wire feed then finished them off with my stick welder except the expanded metal on top of the steps. Wire feed for those. Had to make sure they were good for 300 pounds.They're good for more.
