Wonder why they don't offer a waypoint offset for fixed gps receivers (puck)?

If they can offset depth, the they oughta be able to offset position. Be nice if a gas puck was in one location on the boat and we could offset the position relative to our fishing position in the boat. Just saying. This is technically possible.
