    Question Gonna try to smoke something....on the grill

    My wonderful wife got me a cool grill/smoker for father's day. I've never smoked anything so i could use some tips. What is a good "starter" food for smoking? I want to start out with something fairly easy to smoke that won't take 12 + hours to do. The grill is like the one in the pic except it also has the gas grill too. Thanks in advance.
