As for ideas, it depends on how much you want to spend. because face it its still gonna be the 75 dollar boat you first bought, but what matters most is how much its worth to you. LOL. As for the fishing part idea for the noise reduction on the aluminum. I always go to wal mart and buy hercules bedliner roll in and roll the sides and bottom and front and back facings of the bench seat. I also put wood flooring and covber it also with the liner. The stuff is tuff and great and dries flat black. Plus is hads new life to the boat. For paint, i always use the krylon camo from wal mart. on sale now for 3.99 a can. This paint is really tuff. no primer needed at all. I use the olive green as base and choose the other colors for patterns. usually the brown, black, and light tan. Find some fern limbs if still alive around the house or woods, if not find a plant or tree with leaves that are still alive and in small patterns. Lay it up against the boat and lightly spray over the fern etc. taking one color at a time all the way around the boat. i have pictures of some if you have questions.
