Do you have the vent open on the gas tank? Also, check for tight
fitting clamps on all fuel lines. If any are loose, it could be sucking air under load and not leaking gas when idleing. I had that happening on a 115 Evinrude and I like to have never found the problem. All it took was two turns of the screwdriver on one clamp and problem was solved !!!
