I have not used the terrova but I have 4 trolling motors that I swap between boats. All my motors are 24 volt and I have them mounted an the minn Kota short mount so I can interchange from boat to boat. I have a minn Kota foot control if I want to fish for bream or bass (God forbid). My experience with the electric steer is they are slow to respond and will drive you crazy in a place like low falls swamp. I tried using the electric steer in Florida bream fishing one year and will never do that again. It takes about 10 minutes to swap trolling motors. I have a 24 volt auto pilot for sale
