That would be about 34 yards which is easier for me to guesstimate on the water. I didn't know 2d sonar would read that far in water this shallow. What am I missing? Also the bearing info, is that bearing from GPS to target which would tell you the left or right and I am assuming it would always be behind the GPS for quick reference. Some times I just make things more confusing.
We must remember that when when the cursor is activated....the data in the boxes used for "distance to" and "bearing (°) to...is no longer about any sonar funtion of the unit...(the 2d screen scroll stops)...

Those 2 data boxes are strictly then used as GPS data...or "difference in GPS coordinates of the "Active Cursor" vs the boat's present location...
