Ok I like that thought, but my mind just won't wrap around that idea. This is 2d sonar and it says cursor is at 102' from GPS puck or unit, right? That would be about 34 yards which is easier for me to guesstimate on the water. I didn't know 2d sonar would read that far in water this shallow. What am I missing? Also the bearing info, is that bearing from GPS to target which would tell you the left or right and I am assuming it would always be behind the GPS for quick reference. Some times I just make things more confusing.
