Bon Temps and I were talking one day about setting up Sidescan transducers correctly and He said he had to mount his on an angle so while he is seated at the Helm the transducer will be level with the water. I kinda chuckled inside as I have never had to do something like that. Well I'm eating "Humble Pie" this evening as yesterday testing the new transducer mound the Stbd side was shooting into the mud and the Port side was angled towards the surface. Humble Pie.

I removed the transducer after discovering it could not tilt enough to correct the problem. After removing the mounting bracket I used a Carbide to "Slot Sideways" the bottom of the center mounting slot on the mounting bracket. Now I have more adjustment than I need currently but if I eat too much Chocolate Pudding there is enough adjustment added to make the correction later.

All done and ready for testing, two days from the NIP Tide so testing will happen.

To Add here, my display screen clarity was exceptionally better but just looking a bit crooked. A setback sidescan transducer like this puts the 'ducer in cleaner water especially on the Port side.
