No I haven't. Was asking my fellow Oklahoma fisherman that use his product to see if they knew anything. Wasn't trying to start anything or a bash bonehead thread. I just need some braid is all ! Lol

Thanks for the insight Tommy.

Guess I'm not the only one extremely disappointed in Bonehead Tackle. I tried to give his stuff a shot, walked away very dissappointed. They've got a lot to figure out before my money will go there! I'll leave it at that...

I'm here to help if you guys need it. That's all. I didn't see it as any bashing but only a question about braid which I answered only to be of assistance. Some like some products and some don't. Many fishermen on the water and many different opinions on what products work for the way they fish.
Bonehead Tackle has worked for us very well. We broke the biggest certified 7 fish stringer in a Crappie Anglers of Texas Tournament two poling against the spider riggers this past January.
Don't know how much better it gets than that.

My comments have nothing to do with how the product performs...I wouldn't know. That's the problem. Maybe the service is great for guides and tourney anglers, not so good for first time customer. After several calls and texts, and several follow up reminders, still couldn't get an order filled.
-
I certainly apologize for any problems you may have. I don't believe there is any sinority for tourney guys or guides. Everyone puts there britches on the same way. Fishermen are different. Some like to do tourneys, some like to guide/teach and some just want to do there own thing. All however are the same. They all share a passion for catching.
I wasn't aware of your problem with not being able to order but can certainly help you if you'd like. I'm not sure if at that time there was a shipment held up or what happened but it can certainly be made right.

Guys, the Depth Hunter Power Pro is what I've been using. It's marked at 5 foot intervals with about a 6 inch section of white with a 1 inch black section in the middle. It changes color every 25 feet. You know exactly how deep you are fishing all the time. Bass Pro had it for a short time, but it is much cheaper on the internet. Scissortail Sports is where I get it. It is also great for trolling, letting you know exactly how much line you have let out.

Craig I hadn't had the tip wrap problem even in the wind...you can call it anything you want....only thing I can think of is possibly I am using bigger jigs than you are.....1/4oz on bottom and 3/16oz on top....that keeps my line tight even in the highest wind....might give that a try and see if it helps you with the tip wrap problems....I have never casted braid so I don't have an opinion on that one......other than that I am clueless until I see you fish. Lol......Ranger

I use jigs from 1/16 to 3/8. All braid wraps on me. It happens most of the time because of a missed hook set. I do miss 'em at times, asleep at the reel kinda thing.
