FYI, BPS in OKC has Power Pro in 10 lb and 15lb and both in 100 and 300 yard spools. Academy only had 100 yard spools and only 10 lb. To the people using Power Pro what pound are you using, 10 or 15 lb?

Academy is the best place to get power pro I've found guys. Hi- vis yellow 300 yd spools are 19.99 and the usually always have it in stock. Put about 3 wraps of electrical tape around my okuma 30 size reels and it will spool up 2.

10 is all I have used but just bought 15 lb to try it.

I don't think it matters because you are looking at 2# diameter versus 3# diameter. I would go with the 15.
I use the ten, but 15 is probably just as good. I use the 80# for balloon fishing and the 80 Depth Hunter for trolling for trout or lakers.
Being the inherent tight wad that I am, I only put about 10yrds at a time on my reel with a full reel of mono spooled up. This is for vertical fishing. Unless I brake off "up the line" it will last a long time.
Side note_ I use HI VIS Yellow Sonic braid which I can't find any more but bought a bunch when I heard it was being discontinued. I liked the suppleness of the Sonic over the Power Pro.
Hey, tell me a story!

I don't use braid but, if I did, Josh would get all my bidness! Not only a great guy, an Okie too!
On a side note, he did give me some
braid once and I tried it. Only thing I had a problem with was the color faded really fast in the hot sun of summer. Being my age and eyes not being what they were, this was a problem for me. Josh addressed it immediatey and I believe he fixed the problem.
I hope you'll all give him another shot, he is extremely busy and I know how much he cares about customer service. Or contact Tommy, I'm sure he'll take care of you too!

I have used 10 & 15 PP. I'm back to the 10. It is strong enough to straighten most hooks, but can be broken without moving the entire brush pile. When I have line strong enough to pick the brush up, I spook all the fish. I would rather break off.
Does anyone know what's goin on with josh these days I text him a couple times about a rod of his I have and was gonna get some line and jigs but never heard back from him ,, must be a busy guy these days
