    Default Slip bobber question?

Recently I've been double dipping and spider rigging. As the water temp rises, the crappie move up so I have to take off the jigs, slip on the slip bobber and retie on the jig(s) to flip up in the shallower water. Is there a bobber that someone has used that can slide onto the line without have to re-rig? Can you tell me if it works like you expected it?

I haven't used a slip bobber in a couple of years mainly because of what you just said. I use a spring bobber and do just fine. Adjust it, remove it, whatever you need.

Yes, I just can't tell you the name of it. Pretty sure it is marketed by Wally Marshall. Has a twist tube in it with a slot in the tube and float. Just twist, insert line and twist again then you have a slip float.

I found these but don't know how durable they would be.

use a pear bobber and just turn the spring hook 90 degrees, so it does not go right back into the tiny hole it is made for. your stop will stay on the line all the time, but is big enough it can not get through the gap on the bobber wire. not ideal, but better than going back and forth.

    Thanks,

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on them too. What size did you order?
