Minnows have worked well off the dock and off the rocks, although jigs produce faster off the rocks. If one color jig is not working, switch colors. Hair jigs have been really good for us. Blue/white, brown/orange, blue/pink, orange/yellow/chartreuse, yellow/green/chartreuse, and orange/white/white w/silver wrap have all been good lately. As noted above, the saugeyes seem to chase off the crappie, and that can happen at any time of the day. Just move to a different area for awhile if that happens.
Good luck.
