You mean like along the dam? I've never been to Canton but I heard it's stocked with Walleye and I do love some walleye! I plan to take my boat there this spring since its not that much of a drive from Stillwater, pretty much a straight shot down 51 west from what I've been told.

For Years the locals held the Canton Walleye Rodeo in May. I do not know if they still do this. We went once. Yes we caught Walleye! However you had to get deep and get past the 2-3 lb sandbass to get to them.

We are going to try CB today, even though Paige said it was slow yesterday. At 11:00, there were about 15 people with a total of maybe 12 fish. Might have to check out McMurtry in the afternoon.

Last time I was there I heard the fisherman saying someone came and took up a lot of the brush piles that were inside and outside the house. Don't know how true this is but something is going on as it just isn't producing.

A buddy and I hit it from about 11:45-4:45. Most guys got 0 to 2 or 3. Two guys got about ten each. One of the guys using Slab Slobber on various jigs had 25. Buddy got 3, all on a Lake Fork curly tail, just before we left. I had 37, mostly on the nursery jig (lots of smaller fish). Only about 15-16 over 10 inches up to 11 1/4 inches. At the end, put on a new jig that is chartreuse head, chartreuse body, orange hair tail. Seven hits in less than 10 minutes. All hits on 1/32 jigs. BGs didn't get a hit.

Extra note. ALL of the fish were totally stuffed with shad. Amazing that they still wanted to hit (deadsticking only).
