I'm the same sometimes rdjj.... A lot of times I'll just go fish off the rocks to get away from people. I haven't seen it yet this winter but last winter and especially spring if you were catching crappie it didn't take long for someone to drop their line dang near on top of you. And you better not turn your back to change a jig lol! Many times I wanted to just cut their line! It might be petty but the smoking cigarettes on the dock irritates me, just cause I've been around all my life and hate the smell of them.....oh well

A non-CDC friend and I visited LCB today, arriving about 0930 and departing approx 1130. Only 3 other people there; water temp was frozen-inside and outside the dock! We caught 5 between us with only one keeper. The other folks were catching but it was really slow, and not much size. I caught mine on frank300's hoog boss, but they seemed to bite most anything when they decided to bite. It was way too cold for this old guy but this was my first trip to LCB and I enjoyed the time out of the house.
I fished blackwell last sunday.one keeper on tubes sunrise color i dipped it in yellow dye. IS THE BITE ON there yet.Whe is the best time to go?
Ck6, the standard answer to your question is that the best time to go fishing is when the fish are biting. Last year, it was pretty consistently early (5 to 9:30 AM). This year, the bite hasn't started until it gets light, and the best bite has varied throughout the day. Most days, mornings have been better, but you never know.
