Thread: Heated fishing docks

Bait shop closes @ 6 but they have minnows. Not a problem on info and will try and let you know on evening trip!

I would have to make the drive on a weekend day just because of travel distance to the house. BUT, we can do that for sure!

I guess with the scarcity of bait shops in Tulsa area, I am going to have to add minnows to what we carry. I will start working on a plan to where I can carry at least 5 lbs at a time or something like that.

When I was using minnows it was a pain to find them around Tulsa. Nabatak in Claremore has them but they don't open early enough and don't stay open late enough. Would try to get them the night before and cross my fingers I didn't lose them all.

If we ever end up fishing together I will show you what I use for a minnow bucket. I have had about 5 dozen last a weekend and only lost 4 minnows. It is really cheap to set up also. I think I have around 20.00 dollars in the whole set up.

A customer was telling me that they were tearing them up on Sohoma today at the heated dock this morning. I believe he was using 1/64 oz jigs.

I drove over to Greenleaf state park to check out a heated dock then hit Fountainhead and caught one 12 and a few shorties but several people had some nice baskets. I didn't get out early like I usually do was up late wrenching on my car. Just had to give it a try. Where's Sohoma?
