McMurtry (Stillwater) is open 24 hours. Very basic dock. No power, no lights, hell, some of the windows were gone the last time I was there. You should catch a lot of crappie...but most of them will be small. That dock could use some new brush-piles.

You can fish the dock at Fountainhead, but only on the outside, till they open at 6
They have a box to put your money in.

Hey everyone I fish at Claremore Lake at there heated dock and we pull out 10" crappie right and left. It is the city lake and they keep it clean. They have a web page and a phone number so you can check the hours. No camping though but Oologah Lake is not too far away if you need to camp. Lake Hudson also has a heated dock and they serve food. Green Leaf Lake has a heated dock that is open 24-7. Have fun fishing.

I fish the Blackwell dock regularly and do well. I also fished he McMurtry dock today, but they had quit biting before we got there, and there were some impressive baskets.

There are also docks on several Southwest OK lakes, including Ellsworth, Fuqua, Humphries, Duncan, Ft. Cobb, and Waurika.

But I give the Blackwell dock my #1 pick.
what does blackwell charge to fish the dock and where is it. i didnt know that they had a heated dock.

lets make sure we are talking about the same lake. Lake Carl Blackwell in Stillwater. I called them today and it is like 8 dollars for a boat pass and 5 for general admission. I also fish alot for catfish you can't catch any bait fish with a throw net but the will sell you frozen shad. Their reason for this is to keep people form coming in there and catching all the bait fish and then going to sooner to fish for hybrids.

The heated dock at Claremore Lake is only open until 9PM. If you're not a resident of Claremore it will cost you $3 to fish there, $2 for residents. All the roads to the dock were clear today, but we're expecting another 8 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.
