Fished blue bluff on grand lake yesterday. Caught 20 not one keeper. I did however catch a black nose crappie. I thought that it was a black crappie wtih mud on it. LOL

    Default Arcadia Lake

There is a nice enclosed dock at Lake Arcadia but I dont think it is heated. I do know they have been catchin slabs last week before the last rain.
Keep them off the streets. Get them on the water or in the woods.

Anyone heard if the fish are still biting at Carl Blackwell? I've never fished it at all but from the sounds of things I need to make a trip north.

Let me reword this question, Does anyone know if the crappie are biting at carl blackwell???? My mistake mr apprentice.. I was referring to the the post to this thread on 1-24 that Lip Rippers put about carl blackwell, sounded like they did ok. My dad lives in Guthrie and was thinking about going up there with him to try it out, just trying not to waste petro..Didn't know if LR or anyone else had been back since.

There is Mcmurtry is its just northeast of Blackwell.s There is a fishhouse and two loading docks on the lake were you can fish.

Last year was way better to me then this one don't really know why tho.

Fished Fountian Hd. heated dock yesterday, from about 12:00 till 4:00. I didn't do any good, but some guys caught a few small ones earlier and a very few while I was there.

All I saw caught were outside on the south side. It was alittle chilly on the north side. Met some nice guys and had fun just fishing.
