I was there Sunday caught about 20 dinks. I fish there a few times a month and just have not seen any big ones this year. Last year it seemed every time I went I brought home at least a dozen. This year not a single keeper yet.

Went to Saquah Bay.. that place is shut down for the most part... under lock and key and if your not a member then your not getting in wasn't worth the $165 per person!
Keyport on Keystone is still under constrution due to a storm a while back.. the only way to get to it is by boat!

I called Belle Starr this weekend to see how they were doing down there and apparently the new water and front that came through slowed them down quite a bit. Also, was told they are now only open Fri. - Sun.

i was there last friday, around noon fish for about an hour, didnt even get a bite. THe water looks dirty and is up about couple feet since the last time ive been there.Originally Posted by clock152

Dang!...I am guessing I got to hit Eufaula then... may go to Greenleaf and then to Eufaula... I sure miss all the heated docks here in Oklahoma...its a shame that they have slowly gone to the wayside.

Most heated docks used to be 24 hours, 7 days a week, honor system after hours. It's the drunks, vandalls and the lawyers that ruined it for everyone. The drunks and vandalls tore up the docks and the Lawyers sued the dock owners for any little thing they thought they could get out of the owners. So why even take the chance allowing someone to fish when it just might cost you everything you have?
It's sad. One good thing I heard about those land owners who allow folks to hunt at no charge are not liable for the hunters own mishaps. Not too long ago, land owners were weary of allowing anyone to hunt due to a possible lawsuit.

We hit Eufaula today... its was sllllllooooooowwwwwww.. early in the morning they were hitting minnows and "Electric Chickens" but then switched to Blue Pearl Bobby Garlands (picked me up several differnt BG's).. keepers were few and far between.. about 4pm they started up again.. for about 15 min...LOL.. Oh and they were hitting anywhere from 7' to 10'.

can't belive I forgot to tell this story....while I am sitting there waiting for somthing to happen... pretty much picking my nose.. the wife is talking on the phone, eating a burger from the returant she gets a hit and reels in the bigst fish of the day...I am still not sure how she did it...I mean really .. she only has two hands!.... the thing is she never missed a beat while talking to my mom on the phone.. myself I would have droped the Iphone 4 in the water and the burger would have been under foot......she gently slid the 11 incher to me without looking at me she took a bit of the burger and said honey please?...
