Dang Ledge assured me he had digital scales on the ark but nooooo so we had to improvise. Smallest weighed about the same as four bags of Cajun Flavored Bugles and the largest was about the size of a smoked pork butt. Yeah, what these cat hunts lack in calibration equipment they make up for in good eats and better company. ( Ledge brought along a grown up- Benny)

Good eye General George? Ledge calls those green cats " non counters" as they don't count against the 15 blue cat limit. You are wrong about the jugs though. We caught these on ultralight broom handles, tiny 3 oz. sinkers and a #6 hook at the end of an almost invisible 50# test leader. We were centipede rigging.

LMAO!! You are too, too much. Centipede rigging???? Is that second cousin twice removed from snake rigging???? Is it similar to skink dragging??? Possibly lizard trolling?? I need a clearer understanding. LOL

Fished yesterday, caught about 20. Here are the 6 biggest. Big one was 1.76, 5 of the 6 were over 1.5 lbs. Caught them mostly shallow on a cork with a BIG jig and minnow rig. Some schools of smaller fish are on the ledges at 10 -15 FOW. The big spawned out females are still shallow. Water is up a few feet and off color. 70 degrees. Lots of males still black, less than half the females had eggs. Name: IMAG0063.jpg

Nice Fishers! You are good at this. Catching those good fish in that "off color" water ( milk chocolate) is tricky. Thanks for the good pictures.

Been a while since I've seen Ledge actually fishen a ledge. I think Fishers is out to steal your crown. Maybe Fish is just punishing us for hijacking the thread with slime hunter stories but if that picture is current then I am ready with my tuition and notepad. Heck, I can't even take pictures of crappie as well as Fishers!
