you can buy one next time you drive through the toll booth at one of the ramps. They will sell them to you too. I got mine at Blue Creek.

Fanatic is correct, the people collecting launch fees in the little booths sell annual launch passes. You can buy one right there at the window. I bet the ramps that still charge even if you have a pass are not Corps owned/operated. Also, keep in mind, the annual launch passes are good at every Corps of Engineers lake in the country!

I'm heading out early Friday morning for the day to test out how much the blood thinner is going to effect my cold weather fishing. My friend and I caught 34 yesterday over 10" along with several dinks. Most fish came off brush 8' to 12' down.

We'll since we've been a little picture poor around here lately I thought I'd show y'all some fish I caught today. It was a pretty nice day on the water today. I went solo again and caught 19 keepers and another 15 throwbacks. The crappie wanted jigs today and almost all of them wanted it moving. Caught most of them when they got hungry late in the evening. I backed off a brush pile and casted a jig to get the bites. Sure was fun gettin that thump you get from casting a jig. Water temp was 50 degrees today, still a little cold for the fish to be real aggresive. Most of the fish gave the jig a good thump, but there were some where I just felt something heavy, or saw my line move. The fish wanted it moving, but I had to reel super slow to get bit. I used orange weedless jig heads with a licorice Bobby Garland baby shad and chartreuse crappie nibblets. Biggest fish was 15 inches.

Spent this morning in Talala Creek area hiding under an umbrella and wrapped up in rain gear. Thought I'd give it a go to see if I could catch them off guard because of the rain. Graph showed fish holding almost everywhere but could'nt find many that were hungry. I released 5 keepers back for another day before I left. I might try to get in a couple of evenings this next week.
