Went this afternoon and it was the worst day on the water for catching fish for me in a long time. Only two keepers and a few throwbacks. Couldn't find the fish in, above, or around the brush. Blue Creek, Skull Hollow, Kite Hill, or brush anyplace else. Maybe I should have went up in the creek?

I left a little before 3 and didn't see you. I started out checking out a few regular spots and caught 3 dinks and two just under 10" and one above. I moved and checked out another spot and hooked into one around 14" at 20' deep. Since the wind was so light, I fired up the Merc and decided to look around above Wiganon to the west bank and watched the graph for a couple of miles. I saw nothing but shad, and more shad. I did find what I thought was some brush and camped over it for a bit coming away with one small blue cat. After about 3 hours of nothing, I went back to Talala Creek and sat over a popular spot. Ended up with only 6 keepers, caught one more in the 14" to 15" range, let them all go and loaded for the house. The bigger fish came from deeper water and the smaller ones were in the 10' range. Oologah is 2' below normal and can be very unsafe in certain areas. This is the first chance I've had to get out since early June and it felt great. Think I'll put in at Sunset this morning.

Took my boy out yesterday and the bite was on! Minnows in brush, 3 to 10 feet. Had 9 in the live well when the wheels fell off, boy got bored and had an electrical malfunction in the boat. Blue creek. Great few hours on the water with the kiddo.

You guys kicked my butt. I started in Blue Ceek about 3pm and had only two keepers by dark.

Went to blue creek on Wednesday and found some brush in 10 ft. We stopped counting after 50. Most all small ones at first, then the bigger ones started to bite. We ended up bringing home 36 good ones and big fish was 16". Big minnows was the key. Fish were a foot off the bottom.
