Odie, I am about to lose my mind!!!! Can't fish, too much snow to run my beagles after the rabbits. Sold all the ice fishin stuff when I left Michigan, so I guess that's out. The cabin fever is getting intense. I have watched every hunting and fishing DVD that I own at least twice. Come on Spring or at least a couple warm days to get the THAW on!!!!! Hope everyone is staying warm!!!

ya i know the lake was frozen aint no way to launch a boat...went over there to blue creek just to the gate cuz it was closed...so i turned the gps on my cell phone on and went to spencer creek, same story-gate closed. so i turned around and went to red bud marina and talked to the game warden who told me it looks like its gonna be frozen for awhile. driving from tulsa in my 2wd car, the roads were clear for the most part but alas no way to fish. if anybody live nearby just keep us updated, no work right now and dying to go fishing :-)

Well I've been thinking about going to Nabatak and jigging in their bait tanks. On the other hand I wonder if they would host a tie in. Hmmm!

Dear Lord,

I know you don't usually provide drugs to those people who are addicted to such worldly things. But.. Could you please hit Oologah lake with a fireball and melt the ice. My fishing habit needs a fix!!!

Don't think you are going to get a fireball. After the warm spell I figure we will get a tornado . May just suck the ice out. With my luck it will probably drop it on my shabby old boat.

My buddy took his boat to the ramp and backed it out on the ice and he said he never even heard a crack. Still a few days away from open water. I still have 8-10 inches of snow in my yard. The snow is holding down the temps up our way. Yesterday the temp at my house at 4 pm was 46 and when I got to Tulsa at 5 pm it was 62. All of us Oologah fisher people are gonnna have to just be patient a few more days.
