I have never seen one before. With it being nine feet up you will have to use the main ramps or get creative on the low land ones. Where are you wanting to put in?

Anybody know a number or website for ramp closures?

This shows the only current closed ramp is Blue Creek.
Tulsa District Lake Notice
I am actually wanting to put in at blue creek and fish the pit.
You may want to swing by and check it out if you got time. With a little wading you can launch most anywhere on oologah if you can get your vehicle in there just go slow and be careful. I have launched my 20' in some fun places up there so far this year with all the high water we have had. Sure hope the bite gets better I always brag about oologah lake and I or the lake are not doing to well this year. I might have to switch gears a little and try the cats out or go back to my dark side and get back on the largemouth because the kids are starting to thank crappie are boring and I do not want ruin them on one of the most fun fish to catch on my behalf.
If they think Crappie fishing is boring wait until they get a load of Bass fishing! Cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel, cast, reel..............
you forgot a word cast, reel, catch! well at least every once and a while.
cast, reel, catch a trash fish......lol.....Ranger

Took a week of vacation to fish with an old buddy that lives in Kansas. We fished Oologah Sunday through Friday. Water was still up 9 or 10 foot, but the weather was nice most of the week. Wind was tough the first couple of days and my water pump went out on my outboard Sunday, but luckily my alarm worked and we weren't far from the boat ramp. Loaded the boat and my truck was misfiring. Limped in to the boat mechanic and he put a new impeller in my outboard the same day. Went by my mechanic and he found a plug wire that was bad, got a new set of wires and we were back in business. Fished all over the lake trying to find some crappie. Caught 5 to 10 good keepers each day, with Thursday being our best day with 15 keepers. Caught a ton of sandbass the last 3 days, 20 Wednesday, 35 Thursday, and 45 Friday. Sandbass were everywhere so we took advantage of the fun catchin em. The crappie we caught still had eggs so who knows, maybe if they'll get the water back down to normal the crappie fishin will get alot better. Glad they moved the tournament to July, the crappie fishin is always awesome in the summer time and the water level will be normal. Sure had a good time even though the crappie fishin wasn't fantastic.

Nice catch. Me myself, I only eat fish occasionally so I don't care what I'm catching as long as I'm catching. I find that sand bass are a fun catch on my crappie setup. Talk about some mechanic blues you had there at 1st. Glad you to hear you were able to fix the problems and get back out on the lake.
