I'm betting that there were some limbs or other structure on the bottom in your spot . Last week when I caught those 17 off the bank at Oologah, the two large ones and 5 others came from a small area over the period of 4 hours. I'm guessing that there was some logs or limbs, maybe a small rock pile, laying on the bottom in that area.

I bet the same happened where you were at. Sometimes even something as simple as a limb is all it takes to congregate fish in a spot, especially if there isn't any other cover around.
