Techniques
I use cork/jig and tightline when I'm on bedding crappie. 7-0' med.fast rod for the cork and a 9-6' mag-lite for doodlesockin. If your doodlesockin you only need about 8" to a foot of line out max. Thats where I've seen guy's that were fishing next to us getting fewer bites because their trying to manage too much line, it just dont work in that jungle style tactic. And the fishing Don is referring to is power trolling and you can cover LOTS of water to locate them in short order. Keep in mind you can also run 2 rods out the back with floats or tightline.
