I went yesterday and only managed 6 keepers as well. Caught probably 25 throwbacks and had 10 or so good fish come off at the boat.

like I posted earlier, my dad and i have the best time trying to keep the other one in the most handicap position! looks like it bled over to Redge! I love it!
Fished 8:30a to 2p. Caught 27 or so, lost 4 keepers at the boat. 9 hit the cooler; 12 to 14 inchers. Lota different year classes caught. Started at washunga ended at sarge. My bite was best at 13' to 15' in deeper water. Same numbers on breaks as over wood; both had shad.
I had a little recon trip today with a buddy. We tried the crappie a little bit and then went to the flats to try the cat huntn. The cat hunt was a bust, but the crappie was right where i left them. I fished Sarge and Washunga. The fish are in 10FOW on brush. many of the fish came at 4'. Had a great day looking around.
I keep my boat at McFadden saw a few guys pulling some crappie out around the marina Saturday with minnows..I'm a Newby to lake fishing for crappie maybe I can Learn a little on here
