Size: 56.5 KBMy dad and I where able to get on lots of fish today. I fished brush south of Sarge. The fish where on every piece of wood I fished from 10-21fow. There is not a thermocline that I found. The fish where like catching grasshoppers off Johnson grass at night! I had lots of really nice fish in the box today. It minnows for me, drop shooting them. We lost a lot of fishing time this morning bc of the wind. It was hard to fish in the white caps. It was also good to see the sandbass working on time all day and them leaving me alone!
The take home message today was, cherish the moments you are passionate about with your father! All day I thought of many of our CDC members that are slowly loosing this luxury! I am able to fish side by side with my dad at least once a week! That time that we make fun of each other and always try to put the other one in the biggest handicap position is what I cherish the most! If you are not fishing with your father, find an excuse to take him!! I have to say, I love seeing Whisper and Gaston fish the tourneys together!

I caught them everywhere! from 6' to 18'. Without the thermocline and 80 degree water they are everywhere. not be so vague, but it did not matter. we caught them on top of the brush, at the bottom of the brush, and even just out in the ocean when the boat was out of control! I know, im the only one that has a boat of control on the TM from time to time, but it does happen! find the wood and you have found the fish!
